Some people are born into cozy, normal lives where milk and honey are plentiful and angels kiss their foreheads as they go to sleep, drooling and oblivious to the cares of reality. This particular account is not about one of those people. After spending its cyborg youth as a nebulous krunkstress entrenched in toxic swamp warfare with the complacency of the Deep South, hyper-citizen Johan Ess eventually established syncronicity with the Mother Hive Brain.
As far as the realms of tortured cynicism, egomaniacal paranoid delusion, alchemical merging of binaries, and deviant sex magick are concerned, the 21st century hath given birth to no greater a spokesmutant. Impressed by the radioactive nutrients from his/her/its home-brewed concoction, Synergy Latte, there was consensus among the rest that Johan had a necessary volume of metaphysical fleas to be inducted as the bestial figurehead for HoodooEngine.
Shortly thereafter, the hive/cult/band made its initial strike using EgoWhore as a potent weapon with Johan/na at the helm of vocal brutality. The conditions then became ripe for the opening of portals, which permitted anything from Choronzon to the Old Ones into the studio as vocals were developed for the epic follow-up album, Murder The World. The forthcoming dissemination of such experiences are certain to corrupt chaste minds for generations to come.

Marz233 has been composing, arranging and manipulating noize into pop sensible hooks and nasty bass driven grooves since the late 90's. He has been inspired by a wide range of music including Crunk, Psytrance, Metalcore, Neuro Funk, Hardcore Punk, Electro, Industrial and much more.
Marz233 has Composed and produced tracks for bands such as Elektroworx, The 233 Project, SubQtaneous, Ratatosk and HoodooEngine to name a few. Marz233 has also remixed a number of artisits including Rigger, AC Slater, The 6 O'clock Saints, Sky Highatrist and Viktim. A gun for hire, Marz233 is always on the look out for new opportunities to work with other talented artists that are interested in pushing the sonic boundries of modern pop music in a very aggressive and slightly unapproachable manner so as to create a sense of perverse irony and mass unease.
James Curcio creates dystopian propoganda for a generation of "hedonists, intellectuals, and drug addicts." Rumors of being a key member of a harem of feral lesbians are slightly exaggerated, however much his Bohemian lifestyle may indicate otherwise.
This propaganda is fed by a fascination with the overlap of narrative, psychology, philosophy, systems theory, sexuality, and of course mythology, which seems to be an almost pathological fixation of his.
Previous brain-washing agents have taken the form of subversive novels, essays, scripts for comic and films, albums, soundtracks, podcasts, and performances. They were distributed to the eyes and ears of an unwitting and impressionable public through internet, print, and social media. He has written for Disinformation, New Falcon Press, Reality Sandwich, Immanion Press, Weaponized, Alterati, and several other indie outlets.
He's also worked as art and content director, web designer, SEO assassin, sex ninja robot assassin, and once made an egg stand on its end with the force of will alone.
Scott is a musician and reality hacker presently working out of Los Angeles. He's never far from a guitar. He has worked with a variety of bands including Mankind Is Obsolete, Collide, Android Lust, The Kidney Theives, and Babalon, and did soundtrack work for Dreamland. He provided some additional guitars for EgoWhore but has really stepped up to the plate on Murder The World, adding new sonic dimensions to almost every track.
IRON WILL is a beast among lesser men. His work with HoodooEngine can be heard most prominently on Murder The World, through percussion and ritual sacrifice. He also spins by a variety of monikers including DJ IRON WILL, DJ RAPE VIKING, and stars in the Gonzomentary "Clark."
The Illuminist is a diabolical mastermind better known for his critically acclaimed, cybernetic musicianship. He is highly regarded for his obscure, self released compositions which have been known to induce rebellion, flame throwing, sentient throught-forms, and occult activity amongst its listeners.
Considered a madman by most, he is continuously pushing the envelope in modern instrumental music with his vicious guitar riffs, colored textures, atmospheric experimental passages, and inter-dimensional guitar solos. When not acting as a producer/engineer/composer/recording artist, he enjoys several emotionally rewarding activities including ceremonial magick, walks in the park, grave digging, fecal examination, contortionism, and sharpening his vast array of ritual athames: "they can never be too sharp." A peculiar character indeed, he is currently recording a new, as yet untitled album slated for release sometime in 2012.
Jeff has good manners and goes to bed early. In his youth, he played loud, angry music in bands no one remembers today. Currently, he plays drums in a choir of children who have disabilities. He has never met the majority of the people who made this album.
